  5. The ABS Wholesale Distribution System is designed for businesses which require
  6. automated order processing and inventory control.  It is especially designed
  7. for wholesalers operating from multiple warehouses who need to monitor
  8. up-to-date business information for their total company operations.  The
  9. system totally automates customer orders, inter-warehouse transfers, inventory
  10. control, sales analysis, commissions, and cyclic inventory counts.  It also
  11. supports 99 warehouses in each of 999 companies, 18-character product ID
  12. codes, serialized inventory and fractional quantities.  The system handles
  13. seven payment types, including major credit cards, print orders, picking
  14. tickets, releases, transfer tickets, invoices and order quotations.  It also
  15. prints and displays all order, inventory, and sales analysis reports, and it
  16. maintains financial totals for the prior 12 or 13 fiscal periods directly on
  17. the screen.  An optional counter sales P.E.P.  Pack, which adds point-of-sale
  18. functionality, a contract pricing P.E.P.  Pack, and a UPS-manifest add-on, are
  19. also available.  The version 6 release includes windows, search routines, hot
  20. keys, and an on-line calculator.
